Brilliant, hadn’t thought of that.
It makes so much more sense now, I couldn’t understand why it kept getting the cookies, while the cookie file I had was empty. Now I found the cookie file, which it actually used, in the root of where apache is located.

Here is the story:

For years, Big Copyright (as opposed to small copyright like independent publishers) has been trying to kill the Internet.

With PIPA/SOPA the Internet finally realized it was in mortal danger.

The Internet also realized that the only way it could survive is to kill Big Copyright.

So it is now setting out to do it. And given that the Internet is immense and has unlimited creativity, sooner or later it will succeed.

Why didn’t Big Copyright realize how dangerous it is to go after the Internet? It’s because it thinks of the Internet as being simply a way of transmitting entertainment to passive consumers, just like its traditional business. Big Copyright doesn’t realize that the internet is also a platform for voluntary cooperation that leads to great power, enough power to kill Big Copyright.

I’m really not sure why the Reform library you use doesn’t have code completion in NetBeans. If the class is inside of your SleekMVC app and the code is within the scope of the project in NetBeans, it should be working just fine (NetBeans, as long as it see’s the class within the file hierarchy, should “just work”).

Hello! I’ve been playing around with SleekMVC now for a little bit, and I’ve been successful in building a few fun things with it, but I’ve hit a wall as far as understanding goes with the IDE helpers you mentioned somewhere in documentation.

I’m using a 3rd-party library called Reform, (anti-XSS) and well I have been able to implement it and get it working, I am unable to get code suggestions in Netbeans for it however.

I’d greatly appreciate any assistance you can give me, some additional information is available here..

It is also important to note that you need to have Xcode installed in order to run the make command. I had a little bit of trouble until I figured that out. Thanks for the tutorial!

Thanks for spotting it! I had aliased ‘wget’ to ‘curl -O’ in my .bash_profile. I updated the tutorial to use the proper command.
