Flash not loading data from external domains
February 25th, 2010Are you having issues loading files from external domains to be used on a separate domain? Adobe changed the way flash works about two versions ago and introduced stricter security settings, specifically the use of crossdomain.xml files. Unlike AJAX XHR requests which allow no cross domain communications, flash allows the use of this security file which blacklists and whitelists external domains.
