One of our websites, batmancomic.info, recently became an internet phenomenon, and over the course of the last three days has had over 42,000 unique visitors. Unfortunately, this had the effect of taking down our entire shared host host server. Which leads us to the second half of this update!
We will be slowly moving all of our website hosting to Mediatemple‘s servers. Mediatemple hosts several large company websites and appears to be a lot more stable than our current hosting company, Bluehost.
Also, look forward to some exciting Web 2.0 applications we have in development. We’ve already built a Mixed Martial Arts school application, released through DDR Media Services. We’ve also open sourced an application on Google Code (which is still in early beta stages) and several paid, self hosted, applications. For the next step we will be releasing centrally hosted web applications which feature both a limited free version and a premium version with additional features.
